What is HIPPY?
Home visitors, who are trained in the HIPPY curriculum, visit the home weekly to role-play the curriculum activities using books and other materials with the parent/caregiver.
Parents/Caregivers work with their child daily for 10-15 minutes, reading books and participating in the related activities to strengthen their children’s language, cognitive, social-emotional and physical development.
The HIPPY program year runs for 30 weeks, September-May.
Parent/Caregiver enrichment meetings are held monthly rotating between Bailey, Fairplay and Lake George. This is a time for families to connect and learn together.
End of Year Celebration in May for families!
